After getting soaked riding to the yacht club, the day brightened up and the wind started blowing. Out on the racecourse there was a bunch of dithering - jib or genny. Many tried both and the concensus seemed to be jib, although the top of the course, for races 2 and 3, under Fort Scaur, was very light and shifty. It was a long hard day - with large shifts, a delay whilst the wind swung thjrough 70 degrees, the light conditions at the top of the course, and three races to boot. Results were:
Race 1 - Todd Olson, Tony Parker, Trevor Boyce. Race 1 also saw spoRHADiC’s mast fold at the spreaders when a pin sheared (big oops).
Race 2 - Tony Parker, Stuart Jardine, Trevor Boyce.
Race 3 - Sean McDermott, Tony Parker, John Nicholls.
So after 6 races, Tony Parker and crew lead after posting consistent results.
